ALPHARETTA, GA. - The Wake Forest men's golf team prepares to wrap up the fall season in Alpharetta this weekend. The Deacs are set to compete in the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate hosted by Georgia Tech.

The Demon Deacons last competed in the Ben Hogan Collegiate at Shady Oaks Country Club. Scotty Kennon carded a season-high 67 (-3) under during the first round in Westworth Village, Texas. The junior made his second top-25 finish of the fall at Shady Oaks.

Earlier this fall the Demon Deacons hosted the Highlands Invitational. The Deacs took home their first team championship of the season. The Deacs shot 31-under-par to secure the win at Chicago Highlands.

Michael Brennan claimed the seventh individual title of his career in Chicago during the team victory. Brennan carded a 12-under-par during the weekend to finish first for the individual title at the Highlands Invitational.

The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate started in 2005 at the Creekside Course. In 2007, Webb Simpson became the first and only Demon Deacon to take home an individual title shooting 1-under-par.
