- Volleyball:
- Having reached Week 5 of ACC play, Wake Forest volleyball (14-5, 5-3) is back at home this weekend for two more matches scheduled in Varsity Arena.
- The Demon Deacons' second nationally-ranked test of the fall comes in the form of the No. 5 Louisville Cardinals on Friday at 7 p.m. On Sunday afternoon, Wake Forest will bring in Notre Dame for a 1 p.m. start time.
- The program's 2023 Reunion Weekend headlines Friday through Sunday, as alums are set to come back to campus for various events.
- The Deacs' 14-5 overall start is their best in a single season throughout team history since 2003.
- Women's Soccer:
- Following a 1-1 draw with No. 3 North Carolina Friday, Wake Forest (8-2-4, 2-2-3 ACC) will return to action Thursday when the Demon Deacons host Boston College at 6 p.m. on ACC Network.
- The Deacs are seeking their second ACC Tournament appearance in the past three seasons as they are currently in sixth place in the league with three matches remaining. Of note, the top six teams in the ACC make the annual tournament.
- Wake Forest has been led by junior forward Emily Murphy in ACC play as the Windsor, England, native has recorded a goal in three of the Demon Deacons' last four matches.
- Field Hockey:
- Wake Forest field hockey will host its final home game of the regular season on Friday afternoon, as the Deacs welcome Boston College to Winston-Salem for a 5 p.m. start at Kentner Stadium.
- Following the conclusion of the game, Wake Forest will celebrate the 2023 senior class.
- Women's Cross Country:
- After another solid performance at the XC23 College & Open Pre-Nationals Saturday, the Deacs will now turn their attention to the 2023 ACC Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.
- During the 2023 campaign, the Demon Deacons have been led by freshman Brooke Wilson as she has finished in the top-20 of each race this season.
- Women's Golf:
- The No. 2-ranked women's golf team is coming off their second team win of the fall season last week at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. The Deacs close out their fall schedule next week at the prestigious East Lake Cup at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Atlanta. The event will air live on Golf Channel.
- Women's Basketball:
- Women's basketball season is right around the corner with Opening Night vs. Wofford scheduled for Monday, Nov. 6 at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
- Next week will mark the unofficial start of the women's basketball season as head coach Megan Gebbia and two student-athletes will be in Charlotte for ACC Tipoff on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Be on the lookout for multiple appearances from the Deacs during the afternoon on ACC Network.
- Prior to Opening Night, get your first look at the Deacs on Saturday, Nov. 4 at open practice at LJVM Coliseum. Fans can get an up-close look at the 2023-24 team and the practice will be followed by a chance to meet the team and an autograph session.
