From Coach Smart
"As we always say, any win on the road versus an ACC opponent is a good one and I felt positive about how we responded after a loss in the first set," noted head coach Randi Smart. "Emmy and Emma were terrific – both players set the tone from the start while playing hard up until the very end. Our efforts on defense led to different opportunities created, and our hitters made big plays at important times.
"Sunday is another big opportunity for us that will be here quickly. We are looking forward to taking key things from tonight and keep building as we step into Pittsburgh."
