Why Wake Forest
"I chose Wake Forest for several reasons. Wake Forest is in a very competitive basketball conference where I will get the opportunity to play against the best basketball players. At Wake Forest, I will be able to challenge myself everyday during practice and I will fight to get better each day. Wake Forest is also a high academic level school, where I can study under a good program and get a good degree. Wake Forest offers me a unique opportunity to play at the highest basketball level and combine it with the best academic education. One of the best parts about Wake Forest is the people. The team and players are amazing people who care for each other and have a good team bond. The coaching staff are also great people who want me to succeed and make me the best version of myself. Choosing Wake Forest will certainly develop me as a basketball player, an academic student and also as a person." - Aurora Sørbye

From Coach Gebbia
"Aurora is a very skilled point guard that we can see leading our motion offense as well as assimilating well into the Wake Forest culture both on and off the court. She has been a leader not only for her team but the entire Norwegian national program, playing against the highest level of European competition throughout her youth career. That competition level has helped her game mature and helped make her into the player she is today. She has great court vision and sets up her teammates for scoring opportunities while also knowing when to go and score herself at all three levels. She has a bright future and we can't wait for Deacon Nation to watch her play next season." - Megan Gebbia
