Bryant Contest Canceled Due to Hurricane Lee

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Due to inclement weather in the northeast from Hurricane Lee, Sunday's field hockey game against the Bryant Bulldogs at Kentner Stadium has been canceled.
The game will not be rescheduled.
The Deacs will be back in action at home Friday, Sept. 22, against No. 2 North Carolina, and Sunday, Sept. 24, against Miami (Ohio). All home matches are free to the public and both games next weekend will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

The Demon Deacons are coming off two straight shutout victories with a 1-0 win against James Madison and 3-0 against App State, both inside Kentner Stadium, last week. During the App State game, Wake Forest honored the three-peat National Championship teams from 2002, 2003 and 2004 with a weekend of celebrations.
