Deacs Hit the Road to No. 4 Duke and Davidson

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - After six-straight matches at Kentner Stadium, the Wake Forest field hockey team is on the road for the next four contests, starting with No. 4 Duke on Friday and Davidson on Sunday.
Friday's match with the Blue Devils will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra at 6 p.m while Sunday's contest with the Wildcats is set to air on ESPN+.
Wake Forest Highlights
• The Demon Deacons are tied for the ACC lead with three shutouts through the first seven matches of the 2023 campaign. The Deacs are averaging 4.00 saves a game ranking second in the league while the .429 Sho/G ranks .54 better than any other team in the ACC.
• Faye Janse (7th), Nat Friedman (16th) and Ava Moore (20th) rank in the top 20 of the ACC in shots per game with Janse averaging 2.43, Friedman behind Janse with 2.00 per game and Moore putting up 1.57 shots per game.

• Wake Forest is preparing to take on Duke for the 84th time in program history and will look to extend their streak to five-straight wins over the Blue Devils dating back to 2021.
