This marks the largest class in the Megan Gebbia era as she added high performers, scoring prowess and proven winners throughout their prep careers.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest women's basketball team announced the addition of four top players during National Signing Day on Wednesday, marking the largest class for head coach Megan Gebbia.

On the heels of a strong opening week of basketball including an Opening Night win against Queens and an impressive road win at Charlotte, the Gebbia and the Demon Deacons carried that momentum into National Signing Day.

We love her motor and energy on the floor. She is a very good communicator and she may be one of the more athletic guards we have ever recruited. Also when I visited, I fell in love with the campus and really got to bond with the current team. It really helped me envision being there and I knew I wanted to be a Demon Deacon." - Grace Galbavy

"Grace is someone that the first time that I watched her I could envision her and having a role in our system. She plays very under control and confident when she has the ball and also has great court awareness, knowing where she needs to be on the floor throughout the flow of the game. She will be a great fit for our wing position because she is an excellent scorer, but also likes to get her teammates involved and push the ball to the right areas on offense. Grace is also long which allows her to impact the game on the defensive end in a number of ways. She has an incredible knack for rebounding and is more athletic that people give her credit for. She has continued to keep getting better throughout her high school career. We are excited to see her continue to do that as a senior in high school before getting her here at Wake Forest." - Megan Gebbia

Why Wake Forest
"Being at a college with strong academics and being able to grow as an individual on a personal level is extremely important to me. The moment I learned about Wake Forest and stepped on campus I knew it was the perfect fit for me. On a basketball level, I wanted to be a part of a program that is building something great. Once I started to build a relationship with the coaching staff, I knew they were trying to do just that. They said it but they proved it through their actions. Coach Meg was the first head coach I encountered that was actively involved with my recruitment. She was supportive and genuine with every conversation. Coach Green, Nikki and Emily made sure they called or showed up as well. It spoke volumes with the consistency and support from them all but especially Coach Meg. I always knew I wanted to be somewhere I was wanted and they saw my potential. They know I am capable of adding to what they are wanting to build at Wake Forest. When my high school basketball team won our first state championship in school history at Wake Forest, I knew it was home for me. It was a definite sign Wake Forest should be the college to continue my academic and basketball career! I'm excited to be a Demon Deacon." - Caitlyn Jones

From Coach Gebbia
"Caitlyn is an ideal point guard and creator for our system. She has shown to be a winner and incredible leader throughout her time in high school and at the AAU level. We were able to watch her win the State Championship here last year at LJVM Coliseum. Seeing her rise to the moment and win MVP honors in that game was really special. She has a great ability to know how to read defenses, distribute the ball and score at all three levels based on what the defense is giving her. She is also a great ball handler with the ability to change speeds well and she is able to guard ACC level guards. We know that she will be a terrific fit here at Wake Forest not only as a basketball player but also as a member of our campus community." - Megan Gebbia
