The incoming Demon Deacon picks up a noteworthy honor.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Having officially signed with Wake Forest volleyball a week ago, incoming freshman Bailey Warren has now been named to the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) High School All-American Team. The Fulshear, Texas, native was tabbed to the Region 4 honorable mention section.

"We are incredibly proud of Bailey for receiving this recognition!" said head coach Randi Smart. "It's a reflection of her dedication, hard work and exceptional talent. It's so rewarding to see her efforts being acknowledged, and we couldn't be more excited to have her join us at Wake. We can't wait to see her continue to shine on and off the court!"

Playing as an outside hitter, Warren has seen notable success as one of the top prospects within Texas. A four-year member of the varsity team at Fulshear High School, she has paced the Chargers to emerge as one of the state's top programs. Fulshear finished as a state finalist in 2023 during Warren's junior year – a season that also saw her reach over 1,000 career kills. This past spring, she ranked No. 13 in the PrepVolleyball regional player rankings and No. 21 in the IMG Academy Top 150. Other high school accolades and accomplishments of hers include:
  • Helped lead Fulshear to rank third within the state of Texas during the 2023 fall season
  • Two-time all-state selection (2022-23)
  • Two-time District 20-5A MVP (2022-23)
  • 2021 District 24-5A Newcomer of the Year
  • Named to the 2024 USA Junior Volleyball All-Tournament Team
Warren joins Kelis Hawkins and Sadie Poeck as a Deacon trio composing the program's 2025 high school recruiting class.
