- Women's Tennis:
- On Friday, senior Brooke Killingsworth notched a victory for the Demon Deacons against NC State, as she took down No. 37 Abigail Rencheli (6-4, 0-6, 1-0 [10-8]) in second singles.
- It marked the highest-ranked singles victory of her career. Additionally, it was her fourth individual win of the spring and first over a ranked opponent.
- On Sunday, Wake Forest earned a doubleheader sweep over Furman (7-0) and Western Carolina (6-1).
- The Demon Deacons took the doubles point in both matches and have now started with the 1-0 advantage nine times this season.
- With two victories in first singles Sunday, senior Casie Wooten improved to a stellar 10-3 in dual play this season, which leads the team. Additionally, she is 9-1 in her last 10 matches with the lone defeat coming against No. 3 Amelia Rajecki of NC State on Friday.
- Freshman Sankavi Gownder also went 2-0 in singles on Sunday. She ranks second on the team with nine wins to just three losses.
- The Deacs will now head north to close out a five-game road stretch with a pair of matches at Boston College (Friday, March 15) and Syracuse (Sunday, March 17). First serve for the clash with the Eagles is slated for 3 p.m.

- Track & Field/Cross Country:
- The Wake Forest women's track & field team is set to get the outdoor season started at the Charlotte 49er Classic this weekend from March 14-16.
- This past Saturday night, Madeline Rehm was honored during the men's basketball game against Clemson for earning the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
- Women's Basketball:
- Behind a 20-1 run in the fourth quarter, the Wake Forest women's basketball team completed another stellar comeback in the ACC tournament, as it took down Virginia, 58-55, Wednesday night inside Greensboro Coliseum and advanced in the tournament for the fifth-consecutive season.
- The Demon Deacons outscored the Cavaliers, 23-9, in the fourth quarter. It marked the second-consecutive season the Deacs overcame a double-digit deficit in the ACC tournament and came back to win. Last March, Wake Forest came back from 18-points down against Florida State to win 65-54 and advance to the quarterfinals.
- This also marks the third consecutive year that Wake Forest has defeated Virginia in the opening round of the conference tournament.
- After advancing in the tournament for the fifth-consecutive season Wednesday night, the Demon Deacons were unable to complete its second 15-point comeback in as many nights. Wake Forest forced the Seminoles into 14 turnovers, as the Deacs finished the season forcing at least 10 turnovers in every game except for one.
- The Deacs own a 7-5 record over the past five years in ACC Tournament action including three runs to the ACC Quarterfinals in 2023, 2021 and 2020.
- Graduate student Alexandria Scruggs, who played in her final game as a Demon Deacon, led the team with 14 points on an efficient 6-of-8 shooting, including a 2-of-2 clip from beyond the arc. She completed her final campaign averaging a career-best 7.6 points per game. The Fayettville-native ended with 923 points during her five seasons at Wake Forest and holds the program record with 149 career games played.
