WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The first of two final regular-season appearances by Wake Forest men's basketball is set for Tuesday night (March 5), as the Demon Deacons will host Georgia Tech (13-16, 6-12) inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Tip off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET and fans can follow the action live on ACC Network.

Wake Forest stands at 18-11 overall, sporting a 10-8 clip in Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Tuesday will feature the second matchup of the year between the Deacs and Yellow Jackets, as Wake Forest earned an 80-51 road win in Atlanta last month on Feb. 6.

The Deacons most recently faced Virginia Tech in their final road test of the regular season this past weekend (March 2).

Wake Forest requests that all fans in attendance at the game adhere to all Athletics events rules and protocols. This includes all postgame procedures that allow for the competing student-athletes, coaches, and officials to exit the court safely.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest visited Virginia Tech on Saturday evening (March 2) in Cassell Coliseum. The Hokies were able to protect their home floor, as the Demon Deacons fell in an 87-76 decision.

For the second consecutive game, Kevin Miller led Wake Forest in scoring – posting 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the floor. The Chicago native also grabbed five rebounds and handed out a team-high six assists in 35 minutes of game action.

Along with Miller, four other Deacons reached double figures in points – Efton Reid III (13), Cameron Hildreth (12), Parker Friedrichsen (12) and Hunter Sallis (11).

Reid was close to notching a double-double, as the junior big man brought down nine rebounds to tie for a game high. Hildreth added four assists to his line while Sallis chipped in five boards.

The Deacs shot 50 percent from the floor (29-of-58 field goals made) and swished in 11 three pointers on a 44.0 percentage from outside the arc.

Let it Fly
Through seven separate occasions against ACC competition, the Demon Deacons have connected on at least 10 three-pointers versus an opponent. That shooting prowess has helped the team remain one of the conference's most lethal teams in consistent offense. Entering the final week of regular-season play, Wake Forest ranks second in the conference as a team in both field goal percentage (.477) and three-point field goal percentage (.377) while sitting third in points per game (78.9).

Just a Freshman
Parker Friedrichsen is coming off his second-best scoring performance in conference play, having contributed 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting from deep at Virginia Tech (March 2).

The freshman guard ranks second on the roster in three-pointers made and attempted, currently at a 48-of-115 mark and 41.7 percentage. Additionally, the Bixby, Oklahoma, native is the only non-starter to have competed in each of the team's 29 games and has reached double-figures in scoring five times. Quickly proving his dangerous capabilities from beyond the arc, Friedrichsen has knocked down at least four triples in three separate showings.
