First pitch against the Spartans is set for 6 p.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 21 Wake Forest closes a four-game homestand at The Couch against the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. first pitch.
 
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and can be streamed on ACC Network Extra. Stay tuned to the Demon Deacons social media accounts (@WakeBaseball) for all in-game updates and information. 
 
Opponent/Series History                                                                           
  • Tuesday marks the 64th all-time meeting between the two schools, with the Demon Deacons leading the series, 46-17, dating back to 1992. 
  • The Deacs have won five of the last six against the Spartans and the last four at The Couch in the series.

Multiple Safety Enhancements Added at David F. Couch Ballpark
To make it easier for all fans to get to their seats handrails have been installed in all stadium aisles at The Couch. Prior to the start of the North Carolina series, the protective netting was extended out to cover all fans in general admission seating from potential balls leaving the playing field. Additional security cameras will be added to ensure the safety of fans attending games this season. For a full list of upgrades to The Couch, click here.
 
Go Have A Seat   
Wake Forest's 323 strikeouts through 27 games currently ranks second in the ACC and sixth nationally. Individually, Chase Burns ranks first in the nation with 82 K's through seven starts.
 
Walk It Out 
With 12 drawn walks over the weekend, Wake has now drawn 184 free passes this season (6.81 per game). Wake Forest ranks second in the ACC and sixth nationally in the category.
 
2024 Wake Forest Baseball Tickets
Non-conference tickets start at $5 and ACC tickets start at $10.

New for the 2024 baseball season, Wake Forest University faculty and staff members will be required to claim complimentary general admission single game tickets for themselves and their immediate families at the David F. Couch Ballpark ticket office on the day of the game beginning 90 minutes prior to first pitch. Staff members may only claim up to four (4) complimentary tickets. With multiple sellouts expected this season, general admission seating will be limited and tickets are based on availability.
