Deacs Set for Regular-Season Finale in Raleigh

RALEIGH- N.C. - The No. 3-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team is set for its regular season finale, The Wolfpack Match Play hosted by NC State, beginning Monday.
This is the team's first event since the Valspar Augusta Invitational March 8-10, earning a ninth-place finish on a limited roster. Over the past four weeks, the team has been recovering to be at full strength for the postseason.
Graduate Rachel Kuehn and junior Carolina Chacarra most recently played in the Augusta National Women's Amateur, the fourth appearance for both Deacs in the event. Kuehn made the cut to play Saturday, April 6, at the historic Augusta National and finished tied for eighth with a final round score of two-under-par.
All six Demon Deacons will play in the Wolfpack, with two rounds of match play Monday and the final round Tuesday at Lonnie Poole Golf Club. The first match Monday morning will be against Princeton, starting at 8:36 off the first tee.
The winner of the match will play in the semifinals Monday afternoon against the winner of the Virginia Tech/NC State match. The Championship match will begin Tuesday morning at 9:36 off the first tee with the third/fourth place match starting at 9:36 off the 10th tee.
