Stillwater Bound! No. 6 Wake Forest Defeats Stanford to Win Winston-Salem Super Regional

The Demon Deacons punched their ticket to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since 2019.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 6-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team is headed to Stillwater, Okla., and will be in search of its second national championship in program history after knocking off Stanford, 4-1, Friday evening at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
The Demon Deacons (30-6, 10-2 ACC) will be making their first Elite Eight appearance since reaching the national championship match in 2019.

- Wake Forest punched its ticket to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships after defeating Illinois during ITA Kickoff Weekend.
- Then-No. 13 Wake Forest earned its first top-10 win of the season, upsetting then-No. 9 Columbia, 5-2, on Feb. 2.
- The Demon Deacons traveled to Columbia, S.C., and knocked off then-No. 4 South Carolina, 5-2, in a thriller on Feb. 8.
- Wake Forest defeated Michigan, before downing Arizona to reach the semifinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
- The Demon Deacons defeated Miami on April 7, which marked their 14th-consecutive victory.
- Filippo Moroni, DK Suresh Ekambaram and Holden Koons garnered All-ACC honors.
- Wake Forest reached its second NCAA Super Regional in the last three seasons after defeating Arizona State on May 4.
