
Wake Forest to Open Fall Slate at ITA All-American Championships

Action begins Saturday, Sept. 21 and will run through Sunday, Sept. 29 in Tulsa, Okla.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — In the most-anticipated tournament of this year's fall slate, the Wake Forest men's tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the 2024 ITA All-American Championship at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The event will run through Saturday, Sept. 21 to Sunday, Sept. 29 with action beginning at 9 a.m. each day.
Tournament Information
The 2024 ITA Men's All-American Championships will have a draw size of the following, Singles: Pre-Qualifying (128), Qualifying (64), Main Draw (64) and Doubles: Pre-Qualifying (32), Qualifying (32), Main Draw (32). From this, ten singles players (10) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists). Meanwhile, four doubles teams (4) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the All-American Championships (four main draw semifinalists).
Schedule & Draw Sizes
In the 2023 edition of the tournament, the doubles pairing of DK Suresh Ekambaram and Holden Koons led the Deacs as the duo reached the quarterfinals of the doubles main draw.
Senior Luciano Tacchi also had an excellent showing during the annual tournament as he reached the round of 32 in singles after being one of only 16 individuals to reach the main draw through the qualifying rounds.

In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Rankings, Wake Forest had five singles players and three doubles pairs ranked.
