- Volleyball:
- The Demon Deacons are back inside Varsity Arena this weekend for more home action, beginning with a Friday matchup against Georgia Tech at 6:30 p.m.
- On Sunday, Wake Forest will host Clemson during its annual Pink Match. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. and fans are encouraged to wear pink and arrive early for a pregame recognition featuring this year's Tenacity Award recipient.
- The award honors the memory of former Demon Deacons volleyball head coach Heather Holmes, who led the program from 2005-12.
- Most recently, the Deacs faced Big Four rival NC State twice this past week as Wake Forest dominated in its midweek showing, picking up a fourth match sweep of the fall this past Wednesday.
- The team continues to rank as one of the conference's best in assists, currently fourth among all league member schools with a 12.53 per-set average.
- Field Hockey:
- Riding an 11-game winning streak, the top-five Wake Forest field hockey team closes out their homestand this weekend, returning to ACC play against Stanford and California.
- Push back against the Cardinal is set for 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 on ACC Network Extra.
- The Demon Deacons take on Cal at 12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 19 also on ACC Network Extra.
- Riding an 11-game winning streak, the top-five Wake Forest field hockey team closes out their homestand this weekend, returning to ACC play against Stanford and California.
- Women's Soccer:
- The No.13-ranked Demon Deacons (9-2-3, 3-1-2 ACC) will take a short trip south to face Clemson Tigers on Thursday.
- Last Thursday, Wake Forest remained unbeaten at home with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the Louisville Cardinals.
- Freshman Allie Flanagan scored the lone strike of the night in the 30th minute and is now tied first among the Demon Deacons with five goals.
- This past Friday, four Deacs were tabbed to the TopDrawerSoccer Midseason Top 100 Rankings, on both the freshmen and national rankings.

- Women's Golf:
- The No.2-ranked Wake Forest women's golf squad is primed for its first tournament of October this upcoming weekend at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley G.C. in Chapel Hill, N.C.
- The Demon Deacons head into the tournament following an outstanding September where they say back-to-back tournament title sweeps.
- Sophomore Chloe Kovelesky earned ACC Women's Golfer of the Month in September following an individual title performance at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, which propelled the team to its first team title of the year. Additionally, Kovelesky saw a runner-up finish with four-under par at the Stephens Cup the following weekend.
- Junior Macy Pate shot eight under par to secure her first collegiate title at the 2025 Jackson T. Stephens Cup and helped the Deacs to the top seed in the matchplay portion of the competition. The Demon Deacons earned their second title of the season with senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen providing the clinching point in extra holes.
- Cross Country:
- The Demon Deacons are set to close out their regular season this upcoming Friday as they travel to College Station, Texas to compete in the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
- The women's 6k race is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m.
- The Deacs have secured three top-10 finishes this season, including team victories at the Queen City Invite (Sept. 12) and the Spartan Classic (Oct. 3).
- The Demon Deacons have also claimed two individual titles, with junior Angelina Perez claiming top spot at the Queen City Invite, and redshirt sophomore Alyssa Preisano earning a first place result at the Spartan Classic.
- The Demon Deacons are set to close out their regular season this upcoming Friday as they travel to College Station, Texas to compete in the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
- Women's Basketball:
- In the yearly countdown to the start of basketball season, Wake Forest women's basketball head coach Megan Gebbia as well as sophomore forward Grace Oliver and freshman guard Milan Brown represented the Demon Deacons at 2025 ACC Tipoff.
- The Deacs are less than a month away from tipoff against Radford on Monday, Nov. 3 at LJVM Coliseum and excitement for the new look squad is rising.
- Brown and Oliver talked about the seamless transition to Winston-Salem both as a transfer and an incoming freshman. This year's team has eight new players including a freshman class of five.
- Coach Gebbia spoke to the team's youthful energy and how the pieces have come together both on and off the floor. The Demon Deacons have 18 home games this season at the Joel including nine non-conference games.
- The Deacs are less than a month away from tipoff against Radford on Monday, Nov. 3 at LJVM Coliseum and excitement for the new look squad is rising.
- In the yearly countdown to the start of basketball season, Wake Forest women's basketball head coach Megan Gebbia as well as sophomore forward Grace Oliver and freshman guard Milan Brown represented the Demon Deacons at 2025 ACC Tipoff.
- Women's Tennis:
- Wake Forest will make its third appearance of the fall this week, partaking in the ITA Carolina Regional at North Carolina. Draws will be released at a later date.
- Participants will have an opportunity to qualify for this fall's NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, as finalists for both solo and duo play will be selected from each region.
