All nine Wake Forest batters in the starting lineup recorded at least one hit in the game for the second time in the last four games.
Offensively, Wake Forest has scored 69 runs over the last five games, including three wins via run rule.
Eleven Demon Deacons recorded hits during the midweek contest, with multi-hit efforts from Ethan Conrad, Matt Conte, Kade Lewis, Dalton Wentz, and Matt Scannell.
Lewis finished the night 4-of-4 at the plate, with three RBI and a triple away from the cycle. The sophomore continued an impressive run with his RBI single in the first inning, as he has now driven in at least one run in the last eight games for the Demon Deacons. Lewis is 17-of-31 (.548) over the span, raising his season average to an astounding .476 through 18 games.
For the second-straight game, sophomore Javar Williams matched his career-high with three RBI of his own, including two on his first double of the season.
Transfer Ethan Conrad roped a three-run homer to put the Demon Deacons up for good in the second and has now hit safely in each of the last 10 games.
Graduate transfer Matt Bedford moved to 2-2 on the mound for the season, combining with Luke Schmolke and Griffin Green to retire nine of 10 Chanticleer hitters over the middle innings to settle the game for Wake Forest.
Schmolke continued an impressive run in relief, having not allowed a run over the last 10.1 innings he's thrown over six appearances.
Sophomore Josh Gunther retired the side in the bottom of the seventh with two strikeouts to secure the victory for the Deacs. The righty has only allowed one earned run in eight of his appearances so far this season.

FROM COACH WALTER
"I was really happy with the way we threw the ball from the third inning on. I thought we threw the ball really well. Our at-bats today, up and down the lineup, were so good. It was a good team win. It's hard to win here as we've experienced the past few years. They're a top 25 team for a reason and it was a great, great win. The guys were locked in and they know how big this game is. They know that we haven't won here in a while and they wanted to come out and show people who they were and then they did that." - Head Coach Tom Walter
