- Women's Golf:
- Two members of the women's golf program – Macy Pate and Carolina Chacarra – will compete in the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur April 2-5.
- An international field of 72 women amateurs will compete over 54 holes of stroke play. A cut will take place after 36 holes, advancing the leading 30 players and ties to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, the winner will be decided by sudden-death playoff.
- The Augusta National Women's Amateur was announced in 2018 by Chairman Fred Ridley during his annual press conference at the Masters Tournament.
- The event was established to inspire greater interest and participation in the women's game by creating a new, exciting and rewarding pathway for these players to fulfill their dreams.
- Wake Forest alum Jennifer Kupcho, the world's top-ranked amateur, played her final six holes in five under par, including an eagle on the par-five 13th at Augusta National, to become the champion of the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur in 2019.
- Two members of the women's golf program – Macy Pate and Carolina Chacarra – will compete in the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur April 2-5.
- Women's Tennis:
- Wake Forest returned to Leighton Courts this past weekend, splitting their matchups against No. 25 Georgia Tech and No. 30 Clemson:
- The Demon Deacons fell to the Yellow Jackets 4-0 on Friday, with graduate student Anna Zhang and junior Whitley Pate picking up a 6-2 victory at third doubles.
- The Deacs notched their first top-30 victory of the season as they defeated Clemson 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
- Wake Forest secured the doubles point after a comfortable 6-1 win by graduate student Makayla Mills and redshirt sophomore Krystal Blanch, as well as a 6-4 win by Zhang and Pate.
- Zhang/Pate extended their undefeated start to the season as the duo now sit at 13-0.
- After Clemson equalized the match, the Deacs rattled off three-consecutive victories to seal the win, including Pate clinching the match in her first match back since March 2nd (6-3, 2-6, 6-3).
- Wake Forest secured the doubles point after a comfortable 6-1 win by graduate student Makayla Mills and redshirt sophomore Krystal Blanch, as well as a 6-4 win by Zhang and Pate.
- Wake Forest heads out for its final road trip this week, starting with a trip down to Charlotte in a rescheduled match against the 49ers on Wednesday. The Deacs will then head down to Florida to take on Miami and Florida State in ACC play this weekend.

- Track & Field:
- This past weekend, the Demon Deacons competed in the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State, with sophomore Brooke Wilson breaking the program record and capturing seventh place in the women's 10,000-meter race.
- Since 2007, the record has stood at 32:58.20 set by Michelle Sikes until Wilson clocked 32:50.07 during her first-ever race in the event.
- Angelina Perez joined Wilson on the starting line, finishing shortly after in a dominant time of 33:23.72, en route to a 15th place finish. Perez now ranks No. 4 all-time for Wake Forest.
- Also in the 10,000m, Mackenzie Hart delivered a personal-best time of 34:27.81, while Alli Boehm posted 34:29.57.
- Wake Forest will return to action this weekend at the VertKlasse Meet, hosted by High Point, on Friday (April 4) and Saturday (April 5).
