The Irvine, Calif.-native will represent the Demon Deacons at the American Collegiate Wild Card Playoff from June 16-18 in Orlando.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Looking to earn an automatic spot into the 2025 US Open main draw, Wake Forest tennis alum Stefan Dostanic is set to compete in the inaugural American Collegiate Wild Card Playoffs which are set to be held at the USTA National Campus from June 16-18.
The new event featuring the top American collegiate players, announced earlier this month, will more than double the average number of American collegiate players that earn US Open wild cards this year, with six guaranteed US Open wild card entries up for grabs. The winners of the singles and doubles competitions will earn US Open main draw singles and doubles wild cards, respectively, while the men's and women's singles finalists will earn US Open qualifying wild cards.
The singles semifinals will be played on Monday followed by the doubles semifinals on Tuesday and all finals will be contested on Wednesday. The event is free and matches will begin each day at 5 p.m. in order to maximize in-person attendance, while all matches will also be streamed on the USTA National Campus website.
Dostanic will join Michael Zheng (Columbia), Aidan Kim (Ohio State) and Ozan Baris (Michigan State) in the men's singles draw. The full schedule can be found below.

Closing out his highly-decorated collegiate career with a national championship, Dostanic served as Wake Forest's No. 1 throughout the year and played a major role in the program's success.
In the national championship against TCU, he wrapped up an incredibly dominant NCAA tournament as he took down No. 8 Jack Pinnington (6-3, 6-1) for his second top-10 win in three days. Dostanic, ranked No. 7 nationally in the final ITA poll, finished 12-3 overall in a Wake Forest uniform with 11 of his 13 wins coming against ranked opponents.
He went 5-0 in the tournament which saw him named tournament MVP. Of note, the aforementioned win was his second victory over Pinnington of the season in a national title match, as he was the deciding victory at ITA National Indoors in February. Dostanic was named All-ACC Second Team in singles, a singles and doubles All-American as well as the ITA Carolina Regional Senior Player of the Year.
