The duo has helped lead Wake Forest to its best start in ACC play since 2017.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Following a pair of standout performances in two top-15 victories, No. 13 Wake Forest field hockey earned both of this week's Atlantic Coast Conference weekly awards as Lauren Storey was selected as Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Ellie Todd was named Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Todd turned in a brilliant weekend in the cage, recording 12 total saves across two matches. The senior posted four saves in Friday's overtime road win at No. 4 Syracuse before registering a season-high eight stops in Sunday's 2-1 home triumph against No. 13 Boston College. Her eight saves were the third-highest total by any ACC goalkeeper this season.

Storey delivered the game-winner in both contests. On Friday night, she netted the golden goal in overtime to secure Wake's dramatic road win at Syracuse. She followed that performance with another decisive strike on Sunday, scoring what proved to be the game-winning goal against Boston College. Storey now leads the Demon Deacons with nine goals on the year and has scored in five consecutive matches.

The honors mark the first ACC weekly awards for both Storey and Todd this season.

Wake Forest carries a five-game win streak into another challenging weekend, hosting No. 2 North Carolina on Friday at Kentner Stadium.
