- Women's Basketball:
- On Thursday, the Wake Forest women's basketball team took Virginia into triple overtime before eventually falling, 109-103.
- The 103 points against the Cavaliers marked the most points since Nov. 18, 2019 against College of Charleston when the Deacs scored 106 points.
- This marked the most points the Demon Deacons have ever scored in an ACC game.
- This marked the Deacs first 100-point plus ACC game since Feb. 27, 2011 and the second time ever that the Deacs have hit 100 points in an ACC game.
- Recording a career-high 30 points, freshman guard Milan Brown went 11-for-20 from the field, 3-for-4 from three and a perfect 5-of-7 at the stripe to lead the Wake Forest offense.
- The 103 points against the Cavaliers marked the most points since Nov. 18, 2019 against College of Charleston when the Deacs scored 106 points.
- Against Duke on Sunday in a loss, Brown continued her impressive week accomplishing a program feat that hadn't been done since 2021.
- For the second consecutive game and the third time this season, freshman guard Milan Brown finished the game with a double-double, leading the Demon Deacons in scoring and on the glass.
- She posted a career-high 17 rebounds in the game while also ending the afternoon with 13 points in the loss. Brown's big day on the boards marked the most by a Wake Forest player since Ivana Raca pulled down 19 rebounds in a victory at Virginia Tech on Jan. 17, 2021.

- Women's Tennis:
- Wake Forest swept its doubleheader against Marshall and UNC Greensboro to stay undefeated at home this season.
- Wake Forest's 7-0 win against UNCG was the first sweep of the season.
- Junior Sankavi Gownder continued to impress, improving to 4-0 in singles with two more wins on the day, including the Deacs' first straight-set sweep of the season
- Jingyi Li and Kady Tannenbaum each recorded their first singles win of the year.
- The Deacs will return to action this Saturday facing Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va.
- The match is scheduled to begin at 12 noon.
- Track & Field:
- The Demon Deacons continued their indoor track and field slate last Thursday and Friday at the Brant Tolsma Invitational at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
- Senior Elizabeth Whaley placed fifth in the women's mile as her time of 4:36.56 broke the program record for the women's mile.
- Junior Angelina Perez also moved into the top-10 on the all-time mile list in Wake Forest history as she recorded a time of 4:41.24 to place eighth overall during the mile race on Friday.
- In her collegiate debut, freshman Natalia Issler secured third place result in the women's 800m.
- Issler's time of 2:05.42 marked the fourth-fastest indoor women's 800m time in school history.
- Junior Seren Rodgers recorded the third-best pentathlon finish on Thursday afternoon as she claimed third place with 3,971 points.
- Senior Elizabeth Whaley placed fifth in the women's mile as her time of 4:36.56 broke the program record for the women's mile.
- The Deacs will be back in action this weekend as they are set to compete in both the Camel City Sprints on Friday, Feb. 6, and the Camel City Distance meet on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the JDL Fast Track.
- The Demon Deacons continued their indoor track and field slate last Thursday and Friday at the Brant Tolsma Invitational at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
- Women's Soccer:
- Wake Forest women's soccer announced its slate of spring games, featuring a pro exhibition with local pro squads, NC Courage and Carolina Ascent.
- The Demon Deacons will begin their spring lineup at home as they welcome UNC Charlotte in February, and Duke in April.
- Wake Forest will continue its lineup of conference opponents with a road matchup against Virginia and a home contest against North Carolina.
- Returning players to watch include ACC Freshman of the Year Kylie Maxwell, All-ACC Third Team members Allie Flanagan and Valentina Amaral and veteran defender Sierra Sythe.
- Wake Forest women's soccer announced its slate of spring games, featuring a pro exhibition with local pro squads, NC Courage and Carolina Ascent.
