The Deacons’ mark their 33rd consecutive regional appearance, tied for first in the NCAA.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Demon Deacons will begin their journey to the 2026 NCAA Championship at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, starting May 11 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, hosted by Florida State.
Wake Forest last competed at the Noles' home course in 2018, with LPGA Tour professional Jennifer Kupcho claiming the individual title.
Under the leadership of Tony and Vi Golding head coach Kim Lewellen, Wake Forest has finished third or better in their regional appearances, excluding 2020 tournament, which did not take place due to COVID restrictions. In 2025, the Deacs took first-place at the NCAA Lubbock Regional, where they finished four strokes ahead of the field to punch their ticket to California. Four-time All-ACC team member Carolina Chacarra ('25) also secured the individual title, her second of the season and fourth of her career with a three-round under-par score of 7-under.
Since 2017, the Demon Deacons have had at least one individual finish in the top-10 at each regional, with four of the eight finishers securing the individual title. Wake Forest has appeared in 33 consecutive regionals, dating back to 1993 and excluding 2020. Of those appearances, the Deacs have garnered three regional wins, with back-to-back victories in 1994 and 1995.
The Deacs tee off at 8:00 a.m. ET, paired with No. 1-seed Florida and No. 3-seed UCLA. Live scoring will be available via Scoreboard, and live streaming available via Babygrande Golf.
Postseason Accolades
Two Demon Deacons earned All-ACC honors, as announced this past Friday. Junior Macy Pate secured her third consecutive conference honor, while sophomore Chloe Kovelesky earned her second.
