Former Demon Deacon and two-time All-American Cory Parr joined the Wake Forest men's tennis team in February, 2017 as the team's volunteer assistant coach.
During his time at Wake Forest from 2006 to 2009, Parr achieved a ranking of No. 1 in the country along with doubles partner Steven Forman. The duo claimed Wake Forest's first-ever national title, winning the 2008 ITA National Indoor doubles title. In singles action, Parr, a native of Jericho, New York, was ranked as high as No. 7 in the country.
Following his graduation from Wake Forest in 2009, Parr competed on the professional tour, winning 12 professional doubles titles. During his time on the tour, Parr was ranked as high as 779 in singles and 272 in doubles.
