Shot a 69 in the second round of the Eastern Amateur Championship at Elizabeth Manor Country Club but would miss the 36-hole cut ... Carded a 76 on the first day of US Amateur qualifying at Oak Valley Golf Club in Advance, NC ... Shot rounds of 79-80-83 to finish 75th at the Cardinal Amateur in Greensboro, NC. 2008-09
Played in just one tournament in the spring, finishing tied for ninth at the Pine Needles Intercollegiate after rounds of 72-77 ... Forced to miss the majority of the season after back surgery. Fall 2008
Played in four events ... Shot an even-par 71 in the opening round of the VCU Shootout, which was his lowest round of the season ... Wound up finishing tied for 59th at the VCU Shootout after a final round 74 ... Shot 73-75 over the final two rounds of the Duke Individual to finish tied for 27th ...
