Kevin Diaz is in his fifth season with the women's golf program in 2016-17. Diaz, who is the husband of Demon Deacon great Laura Diaz, has a strong golf background. After graduating from Indiana University in 1997, he began his golf instruction as an assistant pro at Bloomington Country Club.

After four years in Bloomington, Diaz joined the Ron Philo School of Golf in 1998 as a staff assistant. He served as a full time instructor for two years before taking over as the director of the Amelia Island facility in 2000. While serving as the director, he was also a part-time caddie for his wife Laura on the LPGA Tour.

In 2006, the couple had their first child, Cooper, and decided to travel as a family. Kevin served as Laura's full-time caddie from 2006-11.

The couple now has two children, Cooper who was born in 2006 and Lily who was born in 2010.
