Kovelesky remains two strokes behind the leader on the individual board with one round to go.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Battling heavy wind and rainy conditions, Wake Forest women's golf heads into the final round at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional in third place, with sophomore Chloe Kovelesky in second on the individual leaderboard.
Carding six birdies throughout the day, the Boca Raton, Fla.-native matched her score from day one to keep her at the top of the leaderboard at six-under-par. At 138 (-6), Kovelesky's 36-hole score ties Jennifer Kupcho ('19) for the fourth lowest score of a Deac at an NCAA Regional.
Carding nine birdies across 36-holes, graduate student Morgan Ketchum moved five spots from the previous day and matched Kovelesky for the most birdies of the Demon Deacons. With a birdie on hole one to start the day, junior Macy Pate posted a clean front nine and jumped seven spots after round two.
Freshman Cartoon Rujiranan joined the likes of Kovelesky with her own eagle on a 470-yd par 5 to finish the day in T42. Senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen completed round two in T34, tied with Pate.
