Did not compete in any events ... Received the Wake Forest Hobbs Award for Entrepreneurial Achievement for Student and Faculty Entrepreneurs.
Played in one tournament as an individual ... Shot a 7-over 79 to tie for 12th at the Lady Falcon Invitational on Sept. 15.
Summer 2008
Shot rounds of 77-79 in the championship flight of the WWGA Women's Western and also competed in the WWGA Women's Eastern.
Spring 2008
Competed in one event, the abbreviated Diet Coke Wofford Invitational...Shot a seven-over 79 in the lone completed round of the event to finish tied for 15th place, the first top 20 finish of Ormson's career...Finished the 2007-08 season with a stroke average of 80.7 per 18 holes.
Fall 2007
Competed in one event... Shot a 78-85=163 (+21) to tie for 56th at the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic.
Spring 2007
Played in one event in the spring... Was one of four Deacons to compete as an individual at the Lady Falcon Invitational in Baden, N.C.... Tied for 29th with a 26-over 170 shooting 84 and 86... Recorded an 85.0 stroke average.
Fall 2006
Did not compete in any events.

Earned four letters in golf at Penn High School... Helped the Kingsmen to state championships in 2002, 2004 and 2005... Member of the Indiana All-State team, as well as the All-Northern Indiana Conference team... Won the Kiwanis Athletic Award... Named Penn High School's Outstanding Female Athlete... An Indiana Academic All-State honorable mention award winner... Member of her school's chapter of the National Honor Society and a mentor with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program...
