Alan Ashworth joined the Demon Deacon staff in 2010. He serves as the Regional Director of Athletic Development in the Deacon Club.
Ashworth's primary responsibility is to serve as a development officer for scholarship, capital and endowment support for Demon Deacon athletics.
A native of Danville, Va., Ashworth graduated from Radford University in 2006 with a degree in exercise science. He was a four-year member of the Highlanders baseball team.
Ashworth received his Master of Education in Sports Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010.
Ashworth currently resides in Winston-Salem.
