Track and Field Teams Place Well

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Wake Forest track and field teams competed in the UNC Charlotte Invitational on Saturday in Charlotte, NC.
Five Deacons won their respective events. Steve Trezvant won the 800m dash with a time of 1:56.68 while Nolan Swanson won the 3,000m run with a time of 8:17.82.
On the women's side, Chrissy Person won the 1,500m with a time of 4:31.61. Teammates Jill Snyder and Janelle Kraus finished second and third in the event that Wake Forest dominated. Kraus won the 3,000m run with a time of 9:59.21. Summer Shaw won the pole vault with a vault of 9'00.00".
