Men's Soccer Shuts Out NC State, 2-0

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team fell to conference foe No. 2 Wake Forest 2-0 Saturday night at the SAS Soccer Stadium in Cary. The Demon Deacons (8-0-2, 3-0 ACC) recorded their fourth straight shutout against the host Wolfpack (3-7, 0-4 ACC).
Off the bench, Jeremiah White scored his fourth goal of the season off of an assist from Justin Moose at the 26:24 mark to start the scoring. Moose passed the ball to White at the top of the 18-yard box, and White struck a low shot into the corner of the Wolfpack net. In the 56th minute, Vicente Bastidas would score his fourth goal of the season giving Wake some insurance. Bastidas and Scott Sealy worked a quick one-two in the NC State penalty box for the goal.
Wake keeper William Hesmer recorded the shutout as he was credited with one save. NC State goalie Mitchell Watson finished with eight saves.
