Bersagel Captures Seventh at NCAA Indoor Track Championships

Fayetteville, Ark. -- Sophomore distance runner Anne Bersagel took seventh place in the 5,000M at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Arkansas' Randal Tyson Indoor Track in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday. Bersagel ran a 16:08.77, breaking her own school record which she previously set last weekend.
Jill Miller also ran in the 5,000M, capturing 10th place with a personal-best time of 16:11.03. Both Bersagel and Miller earned All-America honors. Nikeya Green ran a 2:16.20 in the 800M preliminaries, but failed to advance due to falling during the race.
