Four Deacons Travel To Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational

MASON, Ohio - The Wake Forest men's tennis team continues its fall schedule at the Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational beginning Friday. The event, hosted by Xavier University, will be held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, site of the ATP's Western and Southern Financial Open.
The Deacons will be represented by Mariusz Adamski, Andrew Brasseaux, Andrew Hamar and Charles Sartor. Hamar, a preseason All-American in doubles with Todd Paul, will make his 2006-07 debut. Adamski, Brasseaux and Sartor all participated in last weekend's UVa Fall Invitational.
The nine-team field includes Illinois, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Brown, Louisville, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Xavier. Wake Forest plays singles on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Lindner Tennis Center. The Deacons play doubles on 5:30 p.m. on Friday, 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday at Five Seasons.
