Wake Forest Finishes Play at UVA Fall Classic

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team wrapped up the UVA Fall Classic Sunday with Nolan Bauer and Jaya Billa taking second place in their doubles draw.
Bauer and Billa defeated Liberty's Dillon Segur and Egon Samaii 8-5 in the semifinals before falling in the final to Tanner Baine and Jimmy Davis of George Mason.
In addition to the doubles success, Billa won his final singles match against Alex Lamas on Liberty 6-2, 6-4. Also ending strong in singles was freshman Maksim Kan, who took down Princeton's Zach McCourt in a consolation match today.
Next up for the Deacons will be their lone home tournament of the year, the Wake Forest Invitational, which starts Friday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
