Wake Forest Heads to Liberty Twilight Qualifier

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest track and field will compete in a mid-week meet on Wednesday at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier hosted by Liberty University.
Among the competitors for the Demon Deacons will be Nate Wooten in the hammer throw and Steve Michaelsen in the discus. Ben Lincoln and Patrick Donelan headline the javelin throw as Lincoln has a school-record mark of 75.36m which puts him fifth in the NCAA.
Katie Adair and Sydney White will compete in the pole vault while Nyki Caldwell is slated for the high jump.
Thomas Bojanowski, Kyle Eager and Michael McEnany are scheduled for the 800m for Wake Forest while Samantha Jones and Kaitlyn Oliver will compete in the 1500m. Kyle Graves and Alexander Rose will run in the 1500m on the men's side.
Sean Lunkenheimer who ran in the finals at the ACC Championships in the 400m hurdles will compete in the event on Wednesday.
Wake Forest will break for exams this weekend and returns to competition on May 10 at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
