Wake Forest Welcomes Virginia and Richmond
Wake Forest returns home this weekend to host a pair of teams from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Demon Deacons welcome fourth-ranked Virginia on Friday at 6 p.m. and will take on Richmond at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Kentner Stadium.

Last Time Out
Shannon Eby scored the game winning goal in the second overtime against American on Sunday in the Deacs' dramatic 3-2 win over the Eagles.
Anna Kozniuk scored on a penalty stroke in the first half and Holly Brown scored in the second half as the Deacs led 2-1 until American tied it up in the last minute of the game.
Eby tallied her first goal of the season in the opening minutes of the second overtime on a breakaway to give Wake Forest the win.
Wake Forest Storylines
Wake Forest remained at No. 15 in the latest NFCHA poll. The Deacs were ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll.
The Deacs are 4-0 at Kentner Stadium this year, outscoring opponents 15-5 during that time.
Holly Brown has registered a point in four consecutive games and has scored four goals in the past three games.
Anna Kozniuk leads Wake Forest in points with 13 and has five goals for a team-high. She also has two defensive saves this season and is 2-for-2 on penalty stroke opportunities.
The Opposition & Series History
Wake Forest trails Virginia 19-16 in the all-time series.
The Demon Deacons won 14-straight games from 1999 to 2008.
Virginia is currently ranked fourth in the country and holds a 9-1 record on the season. The Cavaliers only loss on the season came to No. 1 North Carolina as the Cavs fell 2-1.
Elly Buckley leads Virginia with 11 goals while Caliegh Foust has eight on the year. Goalkeeper Jenny Johnstone has a 1.26 goals against average.
Richmond has a 4-4 record on the season but has won four-straight games after dropping the first four. Two of the losses came in overtime while the Spiders fell to Virginia in a stroke-off.
