Wake Forest Hosts the Mountaineers

• Wake Forest welcomes non-conference foe Appalachian State on Tuesday evening at Kentner Stadium.

Last Time Out

Jess McFadyen scored in the fifth minute of overtime on Sunday as No. 15 Wake Forest defeated Richmond 1-0 at Kentner Stadium.
• After two scoreless halves, McFadyen drove the baseline and slipped the game winner past goalkeeper Anna Zarkoski for her second goal of the season.
Valerie Dahmen made one saves as the Demon Deacons stifled the attack of Richmond for much of the game. The Spiders did not record a shot until the 14th minute of the second half.
• Wake Forest outshot Richmond 21-7 with all seven of the Spiders' shots coming in the second half. The Deacs also held a 14-4 advantage in penalty corners.

• Wake Forest remained at No. 15 in the latest NFCHA poll. The Deacs were ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll.
