Demon Deacons Host Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Over 30 schools will be represented in the Wake Forest Invitational this Saturday, Jan. 21 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.
Wake Forest will have 24 athletes participating in the competition.
Events begin at 9:30 a.m. with the 60m Hurdles and the Shot Put and will conclude at 6:15 p.m.
Last time out, the Demon Deacons gathered 28 top-10 finishes at the Virginia Tech Invitational, including event titles in the men's and women's 800m and the men's 3000m. Amy Collins and Jordan Banks also represented Wake Forest in the pentathlon at the Tobacco Road Multis, where they placed second and fourth, respectively.
After Saturday, the Deacs return to action Jan. 27 and 28 at the Darius Dixon Invitational in Lynchburg, Va. and the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
