THE MATCHUP
• Wake Forest welcomes Davidson for the final regular season game on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m.
• Sunday will be Senior Day as Emily Adamson, Brittany Dickinson, Cat O'Connor, Veerle Bos, Megan Anderson and Jule Grashoff will be honored. 

LAST TIME OUT
• The Deacons fell to No. 23 Virginia on Friday and to VCU in its final road game on Sunday to move to 8-8 on the year. 
•  Kelsey Gill found the back of the net on Friday night for Wake's lone goal against Virginia and Jule Grashoff scored for the Deacons on Sunday. 

QUICK HITS
• Head coach Jen Averill returns for her 27th season at the helm of the program  
• The Deacons return 13 players from last year's squad, led by Jule Grashoff, who led the team with 16 goals and 14 assists. The club also welcomes eight new freshmen. 
• Grashoff was recently tabbed Preseason ALL-ACC, voted on by the league's seven coaches. Wake Forest was picked to finish seventh in the conference. 
• Former U.S. National Team captain Melissa Gonzalez joins Wake Forest as an assistant coach. Gonzalez spent the past eight years competing with the U.S. Women's National Team and representing Team USA at two Olympic Games. 
• Anderson leads the nation in assists per game with 1.19. She has notched 19 assists so far this season. Alexis Grippo also ranks in the top-5 nationally in assists per game at no. 4 with .75. 
• Grashoff ranks 11th nationally in goals per game (.88) and leads the ACC with 14 goals. 

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• Davidson enters the matchup at 5-11 overall and 1-6 in A-10 play.
• The Wildcat's Senior Day contest against VCU was rescheduled from Friday to Saturday due to unplayable field conditions. 
• Senior Kristin Kisa leads Davidson with six goals and four assists for 16 points, while Leigha Nortier has added five goals and two assists for the Wildcats.  
• Goalkeeper Sarah Zeszotarski has started in 12 games for the Wildcats this season and has recorded over 800 minutes in the net- allowing 25 goals and making 86 saves. 

LOOKING AHEAD
• The Deacs will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. for the first round of the ACC Championship on Thursday, Nov 1. 
• Sixth-seeded Wake Forest will take on three-seeded Louisville at 4:30 p.m.
• The Deacons upset then No. 9 Louisville 4-3 in their ACC home opener as Jule Grashoff recorded her second career hat-trick to lift he Deacons over the Cardinals.
