The Matchup
• The Wake Forest women's basketball team begins its final homestand of the regular season on Sunday, Feb. 24, as the Deacs play host to in-state foe Duke.
• Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. inside the LJVM Coliseum and will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra. Evan Lepler and Stan Lewter will have the call.
Last Time Out
• A shorthanded Demon Deacon squad fell to No. 9 NC State, 80-46, Thursday evening in Raleigh.
• Down to seven healthy bodies, the Deacs were led by Ivana Raca's 15 points and nine rebounds. Alex Sharp had her second consecutive game in double figures with 10 points and nine boards.
• Maya Banks and Gina Conti added seven points each. Conti had four assists and no turnovers, her first game of the year with zero turnovers.
Wake Forest Storylines
• Gina Conti ranks second in the ACC in assists per game (5.0) and second in the league in minutes per game (36.1). Conti has played less than 30 minutes once this year and her 130 total assists are 36th in the country.
• Ona Udoh is sixth in the league in field goal percentage and seventh in rebounding, shooting 58.9 percent from the field and bringing in 8.3 rebounds per game. She is fourth in offensive rebounds per game (3.3) and fifth in blocked shots per game (1.7).
• Alex Sharp, Ariel Stephenson and Elisa Penna, three of Wake Forest's top-four scorers from a year ago, have all missed considerable time this season. The three combined have missed a total of 50 games this year due to injury.
