• Wake Forest continues its road swing at UNCG on Tuesday on ESPN+. The game time was moved up an hour to 5 p.m.

• The Demon Deacons picked up a second-straight ACC series win, bouncing back from a Friday defeat to clinch the series at Duke. Wake Forest won a pair of one-run games, including a 5-4 victory in 12 innings on Sunday.
• Patrick Frick was named the ACC Player of the Week after hitting .538 (.7-for-13) over the weekend with a home run, double, four RBIs and two stolen bases.

That duo has combined to work 17.1 consecutive scoreless innings; Menendez has three-straight shutout outings covering 7.0 innings, while Fleming has tossed six-straight scoreless apperances over 10.1 innings, allowing just four hits and two walks in that span.

• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against UNCG, 41-15. The Deacs won the Feb. 27 meeting in Winston-Salem in 10 innings on a Patrick Frick walk-off RBI single. Wake Forest head coach Tom Walter missed the game due to an illness.
• UNCG is an impressive 12-1 as the home team, including a perfect 12-0 at UNCG Baseball Stadium as its only home loss was played at First National Bank Field. The Spartans have a team ERA of 3.80, led by Chad Sykes, whose only earned run surrendered in 22.0 innings (0.41 ERA) came at the hands of the Deacs.
