Wake Forest will look to continue its winning ways inside of LJVM Coliseum where it has not lost since mid-November

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team is back home in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum as it takes on No. 14 Florida State on Thursday night.

The Demon Deacons (11-7, 4-3 ACC) have not lost at home since mid-November and they are riding a five-game home winning streak heading into the midweek tilt. The Seminoles (15-3, 4-3 ACC) come into Thursday tied in the conference standings with the Deacs as both teams currently sit in fourth. FSU boasts the second-highest scoring offense in the ACC, averaging 75.8 points per game with three players posting 13.8 points per game or better.

BRINK OF HISTORY
Senior Alex Sharp is just two rebounds away from becoming the sixth player in program history to grab 800-plus rebounds in a career. She also needs just 28 points to join the 1000-point club. The Melbourne, Australia native would be the 27th Deacon member of the 1000-point club.

Sharp would be the fifth player coached by Jen Hoover to join the 1000-point club and the fifth player in program history to have 1000-plus points and 800-plus rebounds in a career.

AHEAD OF THE DOUBLEHEADER
Before the Wake Forest women's basketball team goes up against Syracuse at 4 p.m. on Sunday, the Wake Forest men's basketball team will play the reigning NCAA Champion, Virginia, at noon in LJVM Coliseum.

Fans are welcome to stay inside the Joel between games, however, if you choose to leave, your men's ticket will grant you admittance for the women's game.
