Wake Forest totaled three homers and five doubles en route to the 9-5 victory.
The Demon Deacons (7-5) hit three home runs and five doubles en route to the victory over the Pioneers (3-4).
Shane Muntz led the way with two home runs, while Brendan Tinsman added a homer, double and three RBIs.
"It's huge, and kind of gives us a little breathing room above .500," head coach Tom Walter said. "We got the offense going a little bit. I was glad to see Shane Muntz get going today, that's important for our team as we head into conference play. We've got one more big one Tuesday and then the Cardinals come into town."
On the mound, Bobby Hearn and Riley Myers blanked Sacred Heart over the first 6.0 innings. Hearn allowed one hit and no walks with four strikeouts over 3.0 innings to earn the win, while Myers followed with 3.0 one-hit innings, conceding one hit and two walks with two strikeouts.
Wake Forest racked up 15 hits for the second-straight game, led by a 4-for-4 effort from William Simoneit. Muntz added three hits, while Tinsman, Chris Lanzilli and Derek Crum each tallied two hits, including a double.
The Deacs put five runs on the board in the second inning, including an RBI double by DJ Poteet, Crum sacrifice fly, Michael Turconi RBI double and Tinsman's two-run homer.
Muntz hit solo blasts in the third and fifth innings, bookending a Lanzilli RBI groundout as Wake Forest took an 8-0 lead. Tinsman added an RBI double in the eighth.
Three Deacon errors in the final two innings helped the Pioneers score five runs (one earned), but Eric Adler was able to close out the game with a groundout before the potential tying run came to the plate.
Wake Forest and Sacred Heart will square off again on Tuesday at 4 p.m. on ACCNX.
