
Wake Forest Looking for First ACC Win at Boston College

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest continues its opening ACC road trip in the northeast this weekend. The Deacs will look to bounce back against Boston College on Sunday afternoon.
Entering Sunday's contest, Wake Forest is looking to secure its first ACC victory.
Coming into Sunday, the Deacon offense continues to rank in the top-10 in multiple offensive categories. Wake Forest currently sits in sixth place in the conference in hitting percentage (.257). The Deacons are also tied for first in service aces, where they're averaging 1.73 service aces per set.
Defensively, Wake Forest is averaging 13.33 digs per set and currently sitting at 10th place in the conference in opponent hitting percentage with opponents hitting .188 against the Deacs.
The Wake Forest offense is set up by redshirt senior setter Andrea Fuentes who is ranked third in the conference for assists (10.38 per match) and 30th nationally. The Deacon defense is led by freshman libero Kalani Whillock. Whillock has collected 203 digs in 49 sets, which puts her with the third highest average (4.14) in the ACC. Whillock also boasts a .979 reception percentage.
