Lanckohr Named NFHCA All-American

The Voerendaal, Netherlands native garners All-America honors for the second-straight season.
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Junior midfielder Meike Lanckohr was named a 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Second Team All-American, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Lanckohr receives the prestigious honor for the second-straight season after a stellar junior campaign as the midfielder tallied a team-best and career-high 20 points with a career-high nine goals and two assists. Overall, Lanckohr finished tied for second in the ACC in goals, while ranking third in points per game (1.54).
The junior notched a season-high tying four points twice with a career-high tying two goals against Iowa (Aug. 27) and Duke (Sept. 17)
Additionally, Lanckohr was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time of her career after leading Wake Forest's offensive attack with a trio of goals in back-to-back wins over top-25 opponents in No. 17 Duke and No. 21 UMass.
She is the 12th Demon Deacon to reach NFHCA All-American status in the last 10 years and the 47th All-American since 2000.
Lanckohr also garnered First Team All-ACC honors and earned a spot on the NFHCA All-South Region First Team.
