Words from Walter
"Needless to say, it was a must-win game, and we didn't come through. I think we went 2-for our last 17 against their bullpen. We obviously didn't make a couple of pitches. We just left a couple of fastballs flat against hitters that have holes. And if you make the pitches, you get them out. And if you don't, then bad things can happen."
On Deck
The Deacs will head right back on the road for a non-conference game at Western Carolina on April 20 before concluding the road stand with a three-game series at Clemson on April 23-25.
Wake Forest returns to David F. Couch Ballpark on April 27 for a midweek contest with Davidson.
