Currently, the Deacs are 9-4 on the year and have won five out of their last seven matches. Wake Forest is one of 11 ACC teams with at least nine or more wins on the season so far.

Defensively, Wake Forest is ranked in the top 10 in digs (10th) averaging 13.67 per set and 10th in opponent hitting percentage with opponents hitting .188 against the Deacs.
