Deacs Hit the Road Prepped for Two-Day Invitational

CLEMSON, SC. - 35 members of the Demon Deacon Track and Field squad will take a short trip to the neighboring state of South Carolina for this weekend's Bob Pollock Invitational.
Last Time Out
Last weekend's performance for the Deacs at the Hokie Invitational was highlighted by a first place finish, multiple other top ten finishes and seven personal bests. Two athletes were even able to reach second place on the all-time performance list on their respective events. For more details on the Hokie Invitational read the full meet recap here.
Who Is Competing
Wake Forest's 35 athletes will be competing in 13 individual and 3 team events over the course of the two day event. Competition from other colleges include Clemson, University of Tennessee, University of Florida, Rutgers, Coastal Carolina, Florida State and countless others.
Following this weekend's meet the Deacs are scheduled to host the Camel City Classic: their first meet of the year here in Winston-Salem on February 4th and 5th.
