Demon Deacons Set to Host Louisville in Primetime
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team will host Louisville for its penultimate home game of the season Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The Demon Deacons (21-8, 11-7) and Cardinals (12-15, 6-11) matchup will be broadcasted on ACC Network. Fans can follow along via the Demon Deacons Twitter and Instagram accounts (@WakeMBB).

Wake Forest is in the top 5 in the ACC in multiple statistical categories, both offensively and defensively:
After posting 13 points, four rebounds, and four assists against Clemson, Alondes Williams currently leads the ACC in both points and assists, and is the only player in the Power 5 averaging at least 19.0 points (19.7), 6.0 rebounds (6.8) and 5.0 assists (5.1). Williams has the opportunity to be the first player to finish the season leading the ACC in points and assists since the conference began tracking assists in 1973.
With Jake LaRavia's 15 points, eight rebounds, and one assist against the Tigers, the Williams/LaRavia duo is averaging 34.5 points per game and 8.7 assists per game, making them the top scoring tandem in the ACC and the runner-up pair in assists just behind Virginia's Reece Beekman and Kihei Clark (9.2).
LaRavia was named the ACC's Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 19.5 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game and three assists per game last week against Duke and Notre Dame. LaRavia captured his fourth double-double of the season at Duke last Tuesday with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He tallied 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals against Notre Dame.

- Wake Forest, who is currently fifth in the ACC standings, is working to earn its first top 5 seed in the ACC Tournament since 2010. Additionally, the last time the Deacs finished higher than fifth at the end of the regular season was 2009 when Wake Forest ended the campaign in second place.
- Wake Forest has the opportunity to tie its single season record of 13 ACC wins set during the 2004-05 and 2002-03 seasons.
- Additionally, Wake Forest has reached 11 ACC wins in a single season for the 14th time in program history and first time since the 2008-09 season.
- Wake Forest (21-8) and Iowa State (19-9) are on pace to set an NCAA Division I record for the most-improved team from one season to the next.
- The current official record is 17 ½ games by Towson (2012, 1-31; 2013; 18-13). The Deacs have won 15 more games from last season (6-16), while the Cyclones have won 17 more contests than a season ago (2-22).
