WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest Track and Field teams are heading north to Charlottesville, Virginia for the Virginia Challenge on Friday and Saturday.
The team will send 19 student-athletes to compete in 34 events, which is the largest track meet on the East coast.
Last Time Out
Following standout performances across multiple events in the women's heptathlon, redshirt senior Anna Bush earned a program record 5,587 points amidst an extremely talented and competitive field at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Over the course of seven events, the Australian native recorded one school record, four other top-10 marks in Wake Forest history and five personal bests.
Meanwhile, sophomore Addison Berry placed 12th in the heptathlon with a total score of 5,325 points. Her best event came on Thursday when she earned a personal best and the fifth-longest mark in program history in the long jump when she recorded a leap of 5.92 meters.
