Deacs Set for Final Regular Season Meet at Charlotte Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Wake Forest track & field program is prepared to take a quick road trip 80 miles southwest for the Charlotte Invitational. Competitors from 16 schools will take part in the competition Friday (April 29) and Saturday (April 30) at the Irwin Belk Track & Field facility.
Events get underway at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and at 11 a.m. Saturday. A total of 31 Demon Deacons are prepared to compete in 19 different events throughout the two days of action. The Charlotte Invitational is the 10th meet outdoor meet this season.
LAST TIME OUT
Recently, Wake Forest track and field teams earned three wins in men's high jump, women's high jump and men's shot put at the South Carolina Open and picked up multiple personal bests at the Virginia Challenge.
