Wake Forest Hits the Road to Duke Invite

DURHAM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest track & field teams are slated to continue their 2022 outdoor seasons April 7-9 at the Duke Invite.
The team will send 35 student-athletes to compete in 24 events.
Last Time Out
The Wake Forest track & field programs rounded out action at the Vertklasse Meeting with 15 podium finishes, six personal bests, four season bests and three top-10 times in school history.
In the women's 200m dash, Anna Bush raced out to a 24.65 time. It placed her first out of a field of 81 and earned her the ninth fastest time in Wake Forest history.
The elite section of the men's discus played fair to the Demon Deacons as Andrew White (57.78m) and Thomas Kitchell (57.63m) collected first and second place finishes. White improved on his personal best and third best mark in school history.
In the women's section, Ashlyn Giles captured a second place mark with a toss of 48.08m.
